Aeronautical Engine Effects
When power is increased :
- The helical blast of the propeller hits the tailplane and generates a rotation around the yaw axis to the left if the propeller rotates clockwise as seen by the pilot, and the opposite otherwise. The pilot must counteract this effect by putting his foot to the right.
- The yaw generated will generate an Induced Roll.
- The blowing of the Elevator will generate a variation of Trim, it will thus be necessary to pitch.
Attitude variations also generate effects due to the gyroscopic torque: a nose-up attitude generates right yaw, and vice versa.
