Drift

When the Aircraft - 20230125033243 is moving in one direction and the Wind is not parallel to the Course, it will drift off course. The Heading must therefore be changed to take the drift into account.

A drift is to the right when the wind is coming from the left, and will be called positive drift.
Conversely, a drift is to the left if the wind comes from the right.
