Quantum Chromodynamics

Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) is a branch of theoretical physics that studies the Strong Nuclear Force, which is one of the four fundamental forces of nature. It describes the behavior of Quarks and Gluons, which are the elementary particles that make up protons, neutrons, and other hadrons.

In QCD, the strong nuclear force is mediated by gluons, which are particles that carry a "color" charge. Quarks, on the other hand, also have a color charge, which comes in three varieties: red, green, and blue. Protons and neutrons are made up of quarks bound together by the exchange of gluons.
