Piano Videos
I make upload piano videos here. The process is detailed here, though I rarely follow it.
Record videos
- Turn on the lights
- Setup the carpet
- Setup the books
- Setup the chair
- Place the phone on the tripod
- Setup the tripod
- Adjust the chair
- Start the phone recording
- Sit and adjust the carpet
- Start the piano recording
- Play
- Stop the piano recording
- Check BPM
- Stop the phone recording
- Move the files to the USB key
- Move the files from the phone to the computer
- Rename the files and match the MIDI files to the video files
Audio processing
- Create a new empty FL studio project
- Add the VST
- Import the MIDI file into the piano roll
- Import the MIDI file into the CC64 Pedal Damper
- Export the project as WAVE
- Tools > Macros > Prepare for MIDI export
- Export the project as MIDI
Notes visualization
- Cut the video if it's too long
- Create a new SeeMusic project
- Import the audio, the video, and the MIDI
- Mute the video
- Crop the video
- Transform the video to match the virtual keyboard
- Hide the virtual keyboard
- Sync
- Change notes colors
- Modify effects if needed
- Render
Video editing
- Open the DaVinci Resolve template
- Import the video
- Add it to the timeline
- Change the title
- Crop the bottom with softness
- Add a transition at the end
- Transform the video
- Darken the bottom if needed
- Create a mask
- Change the curves
- Add to render queue as YouTube video
- Set filename to Artist - Title
- Render
Upload to YouTube
- Open YouTube studio
- Reuse details
- Change tags
- Schedule
